Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 June 2026
These terms govern your use of Workli (“Workli”, “we”, “us”), the online marketplace at workli.uk that connects customers who post work with providers who bid to carry it out. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Workli.
1. Who can use Workli
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for everything that happens under your account.
2. Our role
Workli is a platform that helps customers and providers find one another. We are not a party to the agreement between a customer and a provider, and we do not provide the work ourselves. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any job arranged through the platform. Customers and providers are responsible for agreeing the work and for fulfilling it.
3. Posting work and bidding
- Information you post must be accurate, lawful, and your own to share.
- When a customer accepts a bid, a contract for that work is formed directly between the customer and the provider.
- You must not use Workli to post anything illegal, misleading, offensive, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
4. Payments and fees
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
- Workli charges a service fee (currently 7% of the job value) on transactions made through the platform. The fee is shown to you before you pay.
- Where a job uses our payment-protection feature, the customer’s payment may be held and released to the provider once the work is confirmed.
- You agree not to arrange payment outside the platform in order to avoid fees where the connection was made through Workli.
5. Reviews and conduct
Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. You agree to treat other users respectfully and not to harass, abuse, or defraud anyone. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you upload. By posting it, you give Workli a licence to host and display it as needed to run the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share anything you upload.
7. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, are used unlawfully, or put other users or the platform at risk.
8. Liability
Workli is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for disputes between customers and providers, for the work performed, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any disputes.
